Food trucks started in Texas in the 1900’s, around the time of the second World War in the form of army food wagons that transported food canteens to hungry soldiers. Decades later they have evolved into a thriving industry that has been embraced by people in dozens of countries. In the UK, people are enjoying the convenience of mobile food, that compliment the hustle and bustle of city life.
As of now, food trucks are considered to be one of the best places where you can get quality food at a great price and a great number of food trucks are selling a variety of food choices, from briskets to doughnuts, to satisfy your cravings. They provide restaurant-quality food, without having the formality and price. One can simply go out, fuel up and move on to your next destination.
The UK summer has just begun, but food trucks are already out and about, offering the perfect meal or pit-stop for those enjoying the sizzling summer sun.
